Community Guidelines
The Infinite Shelf is a shared, public space for personal stories. These guidelines exist so the shelf stays gentle, honest, and safe for everyone who places something on it.
Lead with empathy
Every memory on this shelf belongs to a real person. Read and respond with the same care you would hope to receive. Curiosity over judgement, always.
Protect identities
Do not share names, addresses, or identifying details of others without their permission. Sign only with your own name or initials.
Keep it safe
No hate speech, harassment, graphic self-harm detail, or content that promotes harm to others. Memories are welcome; harm is not.
Share what's yours
Share your own memories and stories. Respect the copyright and ownership of others.
What we don't allow
- Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination of any kind
- Harassment or targeted attacks on individuals
- Detailed descriptions of self-harm or eating disorders
- Sharing someone else's private information
- Threats or incitement to violence
- Spam, advertising, or unrelated promotional content
Reporting a memory
If a memory breaks these guidelines, please complete the form on the Contact page, and admin will review it. Include a link or the title of the memory so we can find it quickly.
